My lovely love love and I are thinking about getting a dog. We are thinking about a lot of things though. New condo perhaps, moving perhaps; it is christmas and there is always a miryad of things. But a dog! I do love the dog concept. For a second opinion see my buddy Paul’s blog re Tempodog.
That Paul sure loves his dog. So here is the Dog of choice. A Westhighland Terrier. Good for apartments, not hyper but still really active and cute.

This dog is too small. You need something larger, that will do incredible damage in a small apartment out of sheer curiosity… perhaps a black bear.

NO! don’t do it - that dog is not worthy of your personality! you must get a miniature schnauzer. The best part about it is that you get to have that european culture added to your life and you can use your german accent whenever you introduce the dog - “Hello, this is helmut, my schnauzer…”
