Rich guys, so Rich...and I love it.
I was saddened to hear yesterday that Sarah had in fact voted Lib..Lib...Lib..no I cant say it but I think you know. And in Calgary too.

Listen Will, email me your plans for the 17-18 in Calgary. I'll be out there from the 15th to 21st and would love to meet Briana and have a drink with you. Let me know. I'll be mostly around Edmonton for work meetings but have scheduled in several days for family.

Monty Solburg, hmmmmmmmmm.......

oooohhhhh.... will.
We are all joking about svend, right? I was watching TV the other night and an american president was saying "we do not appoint theives to be ambassadors!" Life imitating art? Art imitating life?

I have an even better suggestion for ambassador to the US: Monty Solberg!! He's funny! And think how great the soundbytes would be! the one stipulation is that he has to keep writing his blog himself.

John, I'm just saying your guy Harper is gonna have his troubles with this administration too. Seems to be a theme to expect good relations with a new PM and have them turn sour before the milk's even out of the fridge. As for Svend, he has proven himself capable, but I am not truly serious about the pick. His grave error took less than 10 seconds and many Conservative politicians in Canada can't stand in front of a microphone for that length of time without threatening the liberty of a segment of this country's population.

You're right, I can get a little saddle sore riding this big elephant, but if their ambassadors keep their mouths shut for long enough I might be more tolerant.

But I'm on the other side of the fence this time, John. And you're the Right one.

Who cares about Svend's sexual orientation? To each their own. This should not be the issue by which we select ambasadors.

Issues aside, are you trully sugesting we send a confessed theif to represent us to our largest enconomic partner? Should we send convicts to represent us on the international scene? I think not. Maybe another choice.

By the way, why the heavy tilt on "Us vs. Them"? Not currently a fan I assume....

David Frum would be a good choice - he speaks their language but is one of us (the best part is, they think he's one of them).
But Svend, ah, Svend would be a marvellous choice! Oh the diplomatic irony of it! Half the country would hate what he is, and the other half would hate what he stands for! The best part would be watching the political machinations as they try to find a way to veto his appointment. What would they say, "You can't be the ambassador because you are too gay?" Because he has a political conscience?

It's Brilliant!
